Satveer has always been closely involved in the investment arm of his family business, the Thakral group. In 2013, Satveer spearheaded the group’s foray into early-stage investing to increase the group’s exposure to technology lead solutions. Subsequently, he has led 120 investments across geographies of India, Singapore, and the U.S.A.

Satveer primarily focuses on deriving access to high-quality deals, defining investment strategy, helping portfolio companies to scale globally using the Group’s network and management expertise.

Academically, Satveer has graduated from the University of Virginia (UVa) with distinctions, earning a Bachelor of Science degree from McIntire School of Commerce (Finance & Management), along with a major in Psychology and a minor in Leadership from The College of Arts & Sciences.

Jai leads activities across the investment lifecycle for Riverwalk and works closely with companies like Karza, Homecapital, Spotdraft and Sellerapp.

Prior to starting Riverwalk, Jai managed the India portfolio for Thakral Group’s startup investments and was also part of the Business valuations team at EY where he led execution of valuation mandates across TMT for M&As of public and private companies.

Jai is also a CFA charterholder and graduated from Delhi University.

Sahil covers HR-tech, Kirana-tech, Prop-tech, Drone/IoT, D2C focused investments, at Riverwalk, supporting activities related to sourcing, investing and portfolio management. He has previously worked as a Program Manager for OYO Hotels and Homes for UK and EU business, based in their London and Amsterdam office.

He also worked as a Consultant with GEP Consulting in Mumbai and worked with various clients across industries for strategic cost reduction programs.

He is a dual degree graduate from IIT Bombay (2018) and shares insights and trends on the Indian business and startup ecosystem through his online publication BusinessBar.

Abhishek covers SaaS, B2B Marketplaces, FinTech and other emerging themes at Riverwalk Holdings, supporting activites related to deal sourcing, investing, portfolio management and thesis building. Additionally, he is a founder of a SaaS & B2B-focused community called "Founders for Founders" that envisions democratizing the learnings across the verticals for the early-stage founders.

Prior to this, he had worked as a Consultant, initially at Samagra Transforming Governance where he supported state governments of India to strategize and execute various state-wide transformative engagements, then later at L.E.K. Consulting where he supported PEs across the globe in performing due diligence on their target assets and building turnaround strategy roadmaps.

He completed his graduation in Chemical engineering with a minor in Industrial management engineering from IIT Kanpur.

Ali has a keen focus on sectors like Consumer-Tech, Wealth-Tech, Mobility, HR-Tech and Prop-Tech, supporting activities across deal sourcing, investment evaluation and portfolio management.

Previously he was a part of the Corporate Development team at Info Edge (Naukri, 99acres, Shiksha and JeevanSathi) looking at strategic investments and M&A for the group and was a part of pivotal deals in education and dating.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering from Delhi Technological University (Delhi College of Engineering).
